i'm new here..

Bismillahirahmaniarahim...

I've learned new things about describing feelings..I thought we could only use the adjective word to describe something, but actually we can also describe something through actions, figurative expressions, similes and comparisons and colour imagery..wonder?..*excited :-)

I'll give you some example:-

#THROUGH ACTION

To show happiness
  • The child smiled from ear to ear at the sight of the ice cream
  • Her mouth curled into a smile when he saw the gift
  • He shed tears of joy
  • He shouted with joy
To show anger
  • My father raised his voice
  • She screamed at the top of her voice

#THROUGH FIGURATIVE AND COMPARISON

To show hapiness
  • He was on cloud nine
  • She felt she was on the top of world
  • She felt a wave of relief when she heard that her husband survived the air crash
  • He looked at the strange outfit and then burst out laughing
To show anger
  • My father will hit the roof if anything happend to his car
  • His face swelled with anger
  • The child's bad behaviour really got on my nerves
#THROUGH COMPARISON
  • He felt as if he had just struck the jackpot
  • He felt like a drowning man being pulled out of water
  • He looked as if he had just seen a ghost
#THROUGH COLOUR IMAGERY
  • Her face turned ashen
  • He was scarlet with anger
  • His face turned crimson
TAAAARAAAAA!!!!...GREAT, RYTE??...HOPE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND IT WELL

p/s; I'm tired
